Objectives This course aims at developing qualitative research skills, which might be required for the pursuing of the doctoral research project, independently of its nature being qualitative or quantitative.
Program 1. Introduction
1.1.  Process, philosophy, strategies, purposes, types of research
1.2. Definition, features, justification of the methodology
1.3.  Organizational phenomena, Natural Sciences & Social Sciences paradigms versus methodological Requirements
1.4. Development, validation and testing of research models
1.5. Expected innovative contributions to theory, research and practice
2. Case Study
3. Action Research
Evaluation Method Assessment along the term: individual report (100%).

A pass grade means a mark of 10 out of 20 or above.
Teaching Method The following methodologies will be used:
? Expositional methodologies for introducing the subjects, followed by discussion
? Participative methodologies in the analysis and discussion of supporting papers
? Self-study.

Each student should develop competences in analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, information gathering, written & oral communication, according with the established learning goals.
Observations Students under the "Internal regulation for Students with Special Statutes" should contact the Curricular Unit professor or coordinator during the first week of classes of each semester to allow for framing of learning processes and evaluation of the curricular unit.
