Objectives Diversification of the workforce has been a political objective but also an historical fact--and it will be in the future. Evaluation Method Continuos evaluation: 1)student contribution to the lectures (presentation of a text accompanied by a brief written resumé of the text counting 40% of the final grade). 2) Group assignment (theoretical and empirical) to deliver at the end of the course (counting 60% of the final grade; groups max. 3 persons). Final exam: counts 100% to final grade. In any of these cases a minimum grade of 10 is required to guarantee success.
Teaching Method The CU is organized in theoretical/practical lessons. Students will be encouraged to discuss real-life questions of diversity in task related contexts. Examples will be used to illustrate the main theoretical principles.Theoretical approaches and distinctions will be introduced in mini-lectures by the docent and small groups of students. Selective readings will support the understanding of the theoretical, methodological and practical implications of the learned concepts.
Observations All the texts for oral presentation in the class and the structure of the text resumé will be presented in class by the teachers.
