Objectives
To discuss freely the different concepts of the management theory To develop competences related to research topic inquiry, research question analysis on the area of management.
Program
This course has no predefined program. In the classroom the professors and the students discuss seminal and recent papers about the different theories related with the different management areas. The articles are previously distributed.
Evaluation Method
To elaborate (individually) an essay about a set of articles.
Teaching Method
The teaching methodology is participative. The attainment of the course´s objectives is essentially achieved through the discussion of articles and a reduced number of lectures. The students will go through the following activities: 1. Participation in the lectures. 2. Presentation and debate of articles and ongoing research 3. Development of essays with critical analysis of articles.
Observations
Students under the "Internal regulation for Students with Special Statutes" should contact the Curricular Unit professor or coordinator during the first week of classes of each semester to allow for framing of learning processes and evaluation of the curricular unit.
