Evaluation Method Assessment includes class attendance and participation (20%) and the presentation and debate of one topic of the syllabus.
The final paper is the analysis of one of the cornerstones of Indian society (50%).
Teaching Method The course articulates lectures and debates based on selected texts.
Teaching is substantially grounded on the instructor?s long-term fieldwork in India, and will be supported by photography and film.
