Objectives This course has following objectives:

1. Analyze the sectoral context where firms operate, which directly influences management decisions;
2. Develop in the students the ability to use the toolbox of applied economic analysis to make better and more efficient management decisions.

Evaluation Method In this case, the performance evaluation of the student can occur through:

Periodic assessment:

- Group work - case studies (40%);
- Individual exam(60%).

Final assessment:

- Exam (100%)
Teaching Method 1. Expositional: presentation of theoretical concepts
2. Participative: analysis and resolution of exercises and problems
3. Active: with the realization of group works
4. Self-study, related with autonomous work by the student, as is contemplated in the Class Planning
