Pre-requisites Passing grade in the first-year curricular units.
Objectives Design a thesis on a specific topic related with the master?s scientific areas, using theoretical frameworks and specific methodologies to deepen a theoretical issue.
Program 1. Writing the introduction and abstract
2. Definition of a research problem
3. Definition of research goals
4. Literature review
5. Defining hypotheses
6. Data collection methods (if applicable)
7. Data analysis methods (if applicable)
8. Writing conclusions and defining future research paths
Evaluation Method - Written presentation of the thesis
- Oral presentation of a synthesis of the thesis followed by a public defense with a jury.
Teaching Method In order to develop the research ability and critical reflection the course will use the following methodologies:
- Guided study
- Collective discussion in tutorial sessions
- Practical application of data collection and data analysis (if applicable)
Observations Data analysis is not applicable if the thesis is a purely theoretical contribution.
