Objectives
This module aims that students acquire the fundamental concepts of monetary and financial economics necessary for the modules that follow in the curriculum of the Master in Monetary and Financial Economics (MMFE)

3. Macroeconomics in the short run a. IS/LM and AS/AD models b. Phillips Curve c. Current account
4. Uncertainty, prices of assets and fundamental concepts a. Expected value b. The use of the logarithm in economics c. The use of the concept of limit in economics d. Differential calculus in economics and profit maximization
